The majority of our lighting is natural lighting to create the atmosphere and build the mood in our scenes. Natural lighting helps portray the emotions of characters as well as the emotions in the lyrics and narrative. This lighting is extremely effective for heightening the sense of isolation in a scene as it is realistic and this is an important part of our narrative.
In the majority of our scenes such as when the narrative about the couple is being shown natural lighting will be used in order for the scenes to be high in verisimilitude. As well as this in scenes outdoors we can't actually alter the lighting and we don't want to do this in the editing process and it makes it less realistic.
The lighting which we are using follows the codes and conventions of a pop video and relate to the mood of a love song. The lighting options we have chosen will best portray our narrative to the audience and make for interesting viewing to attract out target audience.
You have made a start in explaning the different lighting styles that you wish to include within your music video, but further analysis is needed on the purpose that it has, by considering your video in further detail.
